Arteflame Grill Grate 40

This carbon steel center grill grate fits the 40″ Arteflame grill cooktops.

The Arteflame grill insert converts both the  Arteflame Classic 40 and Arteflame Euro 40 grills into an Arteflame experience. It is a perfect addition to the 40 grills we sell and adds enough space to direct grill 4 whole chickens over the fire. This solid USA made product is perfect for grilling seafood, steaks, burgers, veggies and more.

• Uses both wood and charcoal
• Made of US Steel
• Cook top is cut from 1/4″ hot rolled steel
• Virtually maintenance-free: all residue can be scraped into the fire
• After cook top cools, wipe clean with damp cloth
• Oil (sunflower, canola, coconut, olive, etc.) cook top to facilitate ease of cooking and penetrate steel; over time oil will turn cook top to a deep dark color and prevent rust from forming
• Can be left outside year round once seasoned; base will develop a beautiful patina over time

Note: When the grill grate arrives, the surface will be silver (unseasoned). It will develop the dark color shown in the images once it’s been used several times with heat and a good cooking oil.
